Branches

Menu path: Multi-Branch → Branches  •  URL: /admin/branches Access: ADMIN, MANAGER Requires: The branch hub (multiLocation) is included in the free core; the second branch onwards needs the Extra Branch item (₺3,990/year each, with the licence as a prerequisite)

Purpose

The Branches screen manages all the branches in your restaurant chain from one panel. Each branch has its own tables, menu, orders and reports; the manager switches between branches and sees the consolidated picture.

The branch hub, the branch picker and per-branch reporting are included in the free core — what you pay for is not the multi-branch UI but the second branch itself. The first branch is free; every additional branch is an Extra Branch item (₺3,990/year each, up to 100), and each one raises your branch limit by one. Like every paid item it unlocks with the Maintenance, Support & Updates (₺4,900/year) as a prerequisite. Price list: Plans.

What’s on the screen

  • Usage badge: “X / Y branches” — how many branches you use and your limit (1 in the free core; +1 per Extra Branch unit).
  • Branch list: each branch’s name, code, timezone and status (active / suspended / archived).
  • Add branch: create a new branch with a name, code and timezone (default Europe/Istanbul). At the limit, adding is locked and an Extra Branch purchase prompt appears.

Branch scope

HummyTummy filters every branch-scoped request by the active branch. Use the branch picker (BranchPicker) in the top bar to change the branch you’re working on; screens like POS, tables, orders and stock then show that branch’s data. Switching branches clears the cache — the previous branch’s data can’t bleed through.

⚠️

Some screens are tenant-wide (not tied to a branch): profile, licence & modules, billing, and so on. These screens are unaffected by the branch selection.

The “Multi-Branch” menu also contains:

  • Devices (/admin/devices) — branch-bound POS/printer/screen devices. (Included in the free core.)
  • Bridges (/admin/bridges) — local hardware bridges. (Included in the free core.)
  • Health (/admin/health) — system/branch health status. (Included in the free core.)

Tips

  • Pick the timezone correctly: reports and end-of-day (Z-report) closings are computed in the branch timezone — a wrong timezone shifts the end of day.
  • Archive unused branches: instead of deleting a closed/paused branch, change its status; historical data is preserved.
  • Branch-level reporting: use the branch filter on the Reports screen to compare branches; see which branch is strong on which product.
