Purpose

Menu Management is your restaurant’s central catalog: categories, products and options are all defined here. Everything you enter — price, image, stock link, ordering and visibility — feeds both the POS sales screen and the QR menu directly. The screen is split into three tabs: Menu, Image Library and Options (Modifiers).

Menu management is part of the free core and the number of categories and products is unlimited — the counter at the top of the screen only tells you how many products you have; the “Add Category” / “Add Product” buttons never lock against a quota.

The Menu tab shows categories and the products beneath them as a single hierarchical list. You add categories with the button at the top right, and you add products to a category from within that category’s card.

Add a category

Use Add Category to enter a name (required) and an optional description. Categories are the section headings of your menu (e.g. “Starters”, “Mains”, “Drinks”).

Add a product

From within a category, add a product by setting a name, description, price (₺) and category. The price must be zero or positive, and a category is required. You can edit the product later to change any of these fields.

Enter the starting quantity in the current stock field on the product form. If left blank, it’s treated as 0. This field links the product to inventory; to manage stock movements in detail, use the Stock & Inventory screen.

Assign images and options

From the same form you select an image for the product from the image library (the first image becomes the primary/cover image) and tick any option groups that apply. The “Show on menu” checkbox toggles whether the product is visible on the POS and QR menu.

Ordering is done by drag and drop: you can reorder both categories and the products within a category by dragging them. This order is exactly what the customer sees on the QR menu and the waiter sees on the POS. The “Expand / collapse all” button at the top opens and closes every category card together.

⚠️

If a product’s category is deleted or becomes invalid, the product is grouped at the bottom of the list under an “Uncategorized” heading. These products won’t display properly on the menu until you edit them and move them into a valid category.

Image Library tab

Images are uploaded once and reused across multiple products. You can drag and drop a file onto the upload area or click to select one; up to 5 MB per image is accepted. You can search uploaded images by name, switch between grid and list views, and bulk-delete the ones you select.

If your browser supports it, turn on the AI background removal toggle to automatically clean up the background of the images you upload; processed files are marked with an AI badge. This feature runs entirely in the browser.

Options (Modifiers) tab

Options are the choices added to a product: portion size, sauce selection, extra toppings, and so on. You first define an option group, add option items to it, and then assign the group to the relevant products from the product form.

  • Selection type: Single (only one item — e.g. size) or Multiple (more than one — e.g. extra toppings).
  • Required: if ticked, the customer must make a selection from this group before ordering; otherwise it’s optional.
  • Min/Max selection: for the Multiple type, sets the fewest and most items that can be selected; if the maximum is left blank, it’s unlimited.
  • Price difference (₺): the amount each option item adds to the product price (can’t be negative; 0 means a free option).
  • Order and visibility: groups and items are sorted by displayOrder; if an item’s “available” checkbox is unticked, it’s hidden from the customer.
⚠️

If you clear all the option group ticks while editing a product, all of that product’s group links are removed when you save. Because the selection list is rewritten in full, a product you accidentally leave blank ends up with no options.

  • POS (Sales Screen) — categories, products and options are offered for sale on this screen.
  • QR Menu — the customer menu is fed directly from this catalog.
  • Stock & Inventory — detailed management of product stock quantities.
