Tables & Floor Plan
Menu path: Menu & Tables → Tables • URL: /admin/tables
Access: ADMIN, MANAGER
Requires: Included in the free core (table count is unlimited)
Purpose
This screen defines your restaurant’s tables and manages their status. The tables you add are used in the POS table grid as well as in the QR menu and reservation flows.
What’s on the screen
- Stats strip at the top: total tables, free, occupied, reserved counts and a live occupancy percentage (share of seated tables).
- Table card grid: each card shows the table number, status (colored badge), capacity and action buttons.
- Usage banner: shows how many tables you’ve defined; because the table count is unlimited, “Add Table” never locks against a quota.
Table statuses
| Status | Color | Meaning |
|---|---|---|
Free (AVAILABLE) | Green | Available |
Occupied (OCCUPIED) | Red/Amber | Guest seated |
Reserved (RESERVED) | Gray/Amber | Reserved |
Usage
- Add / edit a table: “Add Table” asks for the number, capacity and starting status. Editing an existing table (pencil icon) opens the same form.
- One-tap status: each card has a Free / Occupied / Reserved segmented control — flip the table’s status instantly without opening a modal.
- Delete: the trash icon opens a confirmation dialog. If the table is occupied or has an upcoming reservation, the dialog warns you (so you don’t orphan a seated guest / a booked slot).
- Upcoming-reservation badge: if a confirmed/pending reservation starts soon (within ~2 hours), the card shows the time + customer name — staff can see at a glance which table has an incoming guest.
The table count is unlimited: tables and the floor plan are part of the free core; there is no per-table fee and no tier to move up to. The only paid capacity item is the second branch onwards (Extra Branch, ₺3,990/year each) — see Plans.
Tips
- Watch the occupancy percentage: during peak hours the occupancy rate in the stats strip is a good capacity-planning signal; combine it with the “table utilization” report in Analytics.
- You can change status from POS too: taking an order in POS auto-marks the table “occupied”, and collecting payment auto-marks it “free”. The one-tap control on this screen is for manual fixes without an order (e.g. cleaning / holding as reserved).
- Reserved by hand vs. automatic: if you mark a table “Reserved” by hand (with no reservation record), a waiter tapping that table in POS gets an unlock dialog. Real reservations are managed from the Reservations screen.
- Before deleting: deleting an occupied/reserved table may affect an active session or a booking — read the warning.
